  • “It’s your record. You discovered it…You love it for the feelings it conjures…

Thirty years ago some now-forgotten musicians cut that record. Without them this brilliant song wouldn’t exist. But without you – a DJ – that record would be in a bent cardboard box in a basement…

This is the thrill, and the compulsion, of DJing. This need to share music, and to constantly find new music to excite people with, this is the primal force of DJing.”

Hi,
The mix is a selection of my favourite ‘summertime’ Cookie-Dough Tracks over the years (2002 – 2006). It was recorded in 1 take and I selected the tracks as I went along so it might seem a bit random programme-wise.
It’s turned into a bit of a vocal house selection but I think it represents the deep and soulful side of the night.
Please do not pay too much attention to the mixes as I haven’t played out for over three years so i have just tried to ‘keep it clean’.
It was very difficult to cram 4 years into 1 hour but I hope you like it and it brings back some good memories (it certainly has for me).
If you want a track listing PM/email me.
“You’re much older, I’m much bolder, put your legs on my shoulders..”
Enjoy,
Ste
